It had been weeks of gray skies and grounded plans. As a student pilot, I was preparing for my final solo flight to earn my private pilot’s license. When the weather finally cleared, I launched into the sky alone for the first time—focused, exhilarated, and fully present.

But during my landing at an unfamiliar airstrip, a sudden gust of wind threw me off course. My landing was crooked, my heart pounded, and I panicked. I hit the throttle and took off again, shaken but alive. Every part of me wanted to turn back.

Instead, I tried again. I breathed, recalibrated, and landed safely on my second approach.

That moment changed everything. It taught me how to lead with instinct, how to steady myself under pressure, and how to make smart, split-second decisions. Years later, I’d realize it was the very foundation of my real estate practice—where precision and passion must work in tandem.

Bridging Creativity and Logic

Long before I became a real estate agent in Manhattan, I was immersed in both the arts and aviation. In high school, I was deeply committed to fine art and industrial design. I loved detail, beauty, and the emotional impact of great design. But I shifted paths and dove into the study of aviation systems—a world defined by logic, order, and high-stakes thinking.

Looking back, I see the perfect throughline. My training in both disciplines honed a dual mindset: the creative eye and the analytical brain. And this balance is at the heart of my real estate approach.

As a former competitive springboard diver, I also learned to thrive in high-pressure moments. Diving, like real estate, is about timing, confidence, and flawless execution.
